Everything between the first ring and your callback
The receptionist handles the first conversation. The dashboard makes sure the job reaches the right person with the details intact.
What a caller experiences.
On the call
- Answers in your business's name
- A greeting you write, in a voice you choose, in English or French.
- Uses your approved information
- Services, hours, service area, FAQs and policies. Prices are quoted only if you wrote them down.
- Asks the right follow-up questions
- Name, callback number, address and a description of the problem — one question at a time.
- Recognises urgency
- No heat, an active leak or a sewage backup is flagged urgent using rules you can extend for your trade.
- Books visits
- With Google Calendar connected, it offers open times and books the one the caller picks. Otherwise it takes a request for your team to confirm.
- Transfers with a briefing
- To the number you choose, when a caller asks for a person. Your team member hears who it is first; if nobody picks up, it takes a message.
- Screens out spam
- Robocalls, sales pitches and scams are ended politely and never alert you. Block any number in one click.
- Knows your holidays
- Your province's statutory holidays or the main US holidays, plus your own closed days, so callers hear you are closed — and it never books those days.
- Knows returning customers
- A past customer's details and open appointment are on hand, confirmed with the caller rather than read out to whoever is calling.
- Quotes your service call fee
- If you set one, it mentions it when callers ask about cost and before taking a visit.
What your team gets.
After the call
- A lead, not a voicemail
- Caller, callback number, what they need and how urgent it is, linked to the call it came from.
- A written summary and transcript
- Read what was said instead of listening back. Transcripts are erased on the schedule you set.
- Alerts to the right people
- Email and text alerts per person and per event, with quiet hours that urgent calls can override.
- A simple pipeline
- New, contacted, qualified, booked, won or lost — with notes, assignments and follow-up reminders.
- Repeat callers recognised
- Calls from the same number are attached to one contact with their full history.
- Daily and weekly summaries
- A short email with the counts that matter, taken straight from your call records.
- Texts the caller back
- Optional: a confirmation from your number when they left their details, or a "sorry we missed you" when the call dropped.
- Sends leads to your other tools
- Every lead, call or appointment request to Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan or a spreadsheet through Make or Zapier.
What the owner controls.
Running the account
- Roles for your team
- Owner, administrator, manager and staff, each with clearly limited access.
- Usage you can see
- Minutes used against your plan, with a warning at 80% and no overage charges.
- Your data, your choice
- Recording is off unless you turn it on. Export everything to CSV or JSON whenever you like.
- Self-serve billing
- Change plan, update your card, download invoices or cancel without contacting anyone.
- An activity log
- Sensitive changes — settings, team, billing, exports — are recorded and cannot be edited.
- Your number stays yours to move
- Forward your existing line, and port your number away if you leave.
- Sets itself up from your website
- Point it at your site and it fills in your services, opening hours and service area for you to check.
Being straightforward
What it does not do
- It does not contact emergency services or replace an emergency line.
- It never says a visit is booked unless it is on your calendar; otherwise appointment times are requests your team confirms.
- It does not diagnose problems or give safety, legal or financial advice.
- It does not send marketing messages. Callers only get a text about their own call, and only if you switch that on.
- It does not guarantee more revenue or that no lead will ever be missed.
- It does not answer beyond the minutes in your plan; you are warned before that happens.
Set it up this afternoon.
Tell it your services and hours, pick a number, and forward your line. You can read every call and change anything it says.
